Studio & your team
Operate episodes, subscribers, settings, roles, speaker corrections, and the knowledge graph.
The Studio at podhood.com/studio/<slug> is the private operator surface for a Channel. The public Library never exposes Studio data or controls, and the Studio stays on podhood.com even when the Library uses a custom domain or white-label.
A header switch — Studio | Library — moves between the operator and public surfaces so the team can review its work as visitors see it.

Clips and Analytics are not live yet — an unshipped surface stays out of the navigation entirely until it ships. Comments appears only on YouTube-sourced Channels, since it mirrors the YouTube comment section; see the Comments guide.
Team roles
Exactly one Owner exists per Channel:
- Owner — all Studio capabilities, team management, Billing, and ownership transfer. Their Plan and Credits fund the Channel.
- Admin — content/settings operations plus inviting/removing teammates and changing Member/Admin roles. Cannot see or manage the Owner's billing and cannot transfer ownership.
- Member — content operations such as Sync, Index/Re-index, private episode review, and speaker corrections. Cannot manage the team or rename the Library URL.
Team Invitations are available on Pro and Studio. An invitee joins only after signing in with the invited email and accepting the Invitation. Owners/Admins can cancel a pending Invitation; any non-Owner can leave; Owners must transfer ownership first.
Transfer ownership
The Owner can choose Owner for an existing Member in Settings → Members. PodHood shows an explicit confirmation because the operation changes billing responsibility:
- The selected Member becomes the sole Owner.
- The previous Owner becomes an Admin.
- Future Indexing uses the new Owner's Plan and Credits.
- No subscription or Credit balance moves between accounts.

Operate episodes
The Episodes view includes the Studio-only catalog — unindexed, queued, failed, and live episodes. Members can:
- Run Sync now without spending Credits.
- Filter/search the private catalog before content is public.
- Select individual episodes or an entire status group to Index or Re-index.
- Follow live pipeline progress and retry a failed run.
- Open a live episode's public page after reviewing it privately.
Indexing publishes; Sync alone does not. The Syncing & indexing guide covers the full state and cost model.
Correct speakers in an episode
Open an indexed episode in the Studio. The reader is the same transcript/playback experience as the public page, with editing controls added:
- Use the pencil beside a speaker to associate the current line with an existing person, create a new person, or Unidentify it.
- Keep Edit all N selected to change every segment in that voice group; turn it off for one line only.
- Select multiple transcript rows and use Edit speaker for an explicit batch.
- If diarization switches two resolved people partway through, choose Swap from here to the end at the first incorrect line.
Corrections are applied at the Segment level and appear in the public reader immediately after refresh. This is intentionally more precise than a channel-wide rename: one diarized voice can be split between multiple real people.
Curate the knowledge graph
Indexing extracts People, Companies, Products, and Topics. These drive Library filters, episode chips, hub pages, structured data, and search context.
For People / Companies / Products:
- Rename a mis-extraction.
- Merge duplicates into the entity that should survive. The old name becomes an alias so Re-index does not recreate it.
- Archive noise, and restore it later if needed.
- For People, upload an avatar and mark recurring hosts.
Topics are a generated hierarchy rather than editable rows. Use Generate / Regenerate to rebuild the tree from the indexed catalog; use Restart only when a previous generation is stuck or failed.
Watch the audience
The public Library's Subscribe action creates a PodHood audience Subscription. It is unrelated to YouTube subscribers and does not grant Studio access.
The Subscribers page is a read-only roster with:
- Total followers.
- Reachable followers who have not muted new-episode email.
- Name, email, subscribe date, and current email status.
White-label Libraries keep Subscribe/sign-in, so Subscribers continue to accrue while white-label is enabled.
